A state-of-the-art gym is 'absolutely thrilled' to be nominated for the Hampshire Chronicle and Romsey Advertiser Gym of the Year award.

Winchester Sport & Leisure Park, managed by Everyone Active on behalf of Winchester City Council, provides a wide range of equipment to suit all workout preferences, including free weights, resistance machines and Technogym equipment.

The facility also features a functional area with ski ergs, a sled track and battle ropes, as well as a cardio area with top of the range treadmills, cross trainers and rowing machines.

The gym has been recognised as one of the top leisure facilities in England, achieving an elite 'Outstanding' rating from Quest, a national quality scheme for the leisure industry.

The leisure centre shortlisted alongside for the Hampshire Chronicle/Romsey Advertiser Gym of the Year are: Curves, Elevate Fitness Studios, 365 Fitness, Strong Path CIC, and Wellow Fitness Centre.
