    Authorities are searching for a man described as a "dangerous fugitive" in connection with a deadly shooting in August. La'Relle D. Dennis, 23, has a warrant out for his arrest for the homicide investigation. Dennis has been charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Aug. 25, 2024, near Holmes Road and 82nd Street. Treshaun Wright, 21, was found dead in a vehicle with the engine still running. Surveillance video and witness accounts led police to Dennis, but he remains at large. Dennis is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 290 pounds. The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers is reminding the public that anyone can submit anonymous tips to the organization at 816-474-8477 or at KCcrimestoppers.com. A $25,000 reward is up for grabs for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest.
